Representative of the Constitution of the United States--which begins its preamble with We The People--which can be seen on the top part of the pin. New condition, no scratches, dings, spotting or flaws. Bright red, white, and blue enamel on gold tone metal. The pin is nicely manufactured; about the thickness of a United States dime coin. The back is cast with MADE IN USA marking. The pin is "cloisonné" effect; the pins are die-struck and then enamel coloring is applied by hand. The color sits lower than the raised metal lines giving the pin a textured look and feel, creating the design. No epoxy coating is included on top--the resulting effect is brighter and dressier than with the epoxy "cap". The clutch back is strong and fits tight. It comes in its own cellophane envelope. The pin is solid red, white, and blue enamel with the gold tone metal details. Any dark or light areas on it in the picture are reflection/glare from the surroundings/lighting.
