Description: This listing is primarily for a water resistant enclosure for hobbyists. Originally it was an Era Dynamics AD2 Transistorized Depth/Distance Adapter designed for marine use. It includes the original circuitry mounted to an internal aluminum bracket. You'd probably want to replace it with your own circuit. A single hole in the front panel accommodates the three position rotary switch. What was this?? The only information we could locate was in the January 1961 "MotorBoating" magazine which stated that this was used with depth sounders with two transponders (see pix).
