Description: Interesting French propaganda postcard that dates to 1914, the beginning of WWI. This is from the "Humorous War Series" and shows a soldier in a spike helmet on a scared horse, with a head attached to a stick. Yikes! The bottom loosely translates to "The feet of your steed carried by the wind of fear, do not press hard enough on the ground to burn the flowers of France as your ancestor Atilla once did - they will grow back". Great piece of history!Unposted. Some edge and corner wear but otherwise is good shape, please see all photos. Please see photos of postcard for condition and ask any questions before purchase. Please like and follow my eBay store Groovy Postcards, I'm adding hundreds of new postcards every month. Thanks!
