The item was never removed from packaging and there is no glue residue which leads me to believe it was a factory error as the missing jewel was not in the box. You’ll find most listings of this same item seem to be missing at least one even if new. However, the single missing jewel was so unnoticeable, I couldn’t tell until I checked it three times over in the pictures after inspecting it visually.
