Description: I acquired this at an estate sale decades ago. My husband and I have always been fond of watches and the vintage models are so classy, unique, and the fact that they still run is a testament to the quality of the craftsmanship. Waltham is a brand that I always keep an eye out for as they typically perform extremely well through the years. This one is running well. The band is in good wearable condition. The face shows signs of age, wear, and probably being shuffled around in a box of men's accessories before I purchased it. You could replace it, but I tend to enjoy keeping it original and considering that the man who wore it was a hard working fella that placed enormous value on this timepiece as this brand was somewhat of a luxury item for the lower & middle class working folks. The mortgage must be paid and we're aging quickly...so I must continue to part with treasures that I've held dear during my lifetime. I am pricing within range of what they normally sell for on this platform...with a little sentimental value added (some things are harder to part with than others). I hope it will end up somewhere it will be taken care of. My strongest desire is for another generation to learn and appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship and wear it into the future.
