The necklace is shown and being sold in as found, as shown and as is condition. I did not try to clean or polish it as I have no idea what the metal is and I don't want to ruin it. I was told that Walter made a lot of pendants with silver plated pewter, but I have no idea if that is what this piece is made of. Yep, I am pretty clueless on what metal was used. The chain is just an old metal chain. I don’t see any markings and it shows wear. Condition: ** Most of the time, I try not to disturb any vintage/preowned jewelry by cleaning and/or polishing it in order to keep it in its original patina leaving it to your discretion.
