Description: I got this signed in person by Walter Alston on Sept. 27, 1976 on his last day as Dodger Manager in the parking lot while he was walking to his car. I use to see him at the stadium all the time and got his autograph on numerous occasions. see below * His book, A Year at a Time, was published in 1976 and co-written with Jack Tobin. It is in great condition, like new book, kept in a mylar protective cover. He was the manager for the Brooklyn, then Los Angeles Dodgers from 1954-1976. He was in 7 World Series and Won 4 World Series championships, 1955, 1959, 1963, and 1965. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1983.
