Description: Selling a walnut rifle stock blank that was harvested in the late 1950's out of Monroe County, Ohio. The blank measures 34 1/4 inches long end to end, and 2 1/8 inches thick. The shoulder stock end is 6 3/4 inches tall with the fore stock end being 2 5/8 inches tall. The picture may show flash reflections from the camera angle. There are no splits or cracks and both ends are waxed. The only flaw in the stock is a few odd chips on the shoulder stock edge as you look at the pic with the stock facing to the left. These chips will be lost when the blank is turned in a lathe. The pics show an interesting " quilt " pattern in the shoulder portion of the stock. Free shipping to the lower 48 only.
