A large (folio) auction catalog of sugar plantations and other properties in Antigua, with descriptions of the properties as well as large fold-out maps, with pink handcoloring, of the sites.This scarce printed description of several well-known sugar plantations provides details about the property, its cultivation, and the equipment and livestock included in the sale. The maps show water sources, buildings and other improvements, the delineation of fields within the plantation, roads, and "negro houses."[6] pages and three folding maps lithographed by Standidge & Co.: i) Plan of "The Gambles" & "The Villa" in the Island of Antigua (roughly 27 by 16 inches); ii) Plan of "MacKinnon's" with "Evansons" in the Island of Antigua (15 by 16 inches); iii) Plan of "Delaps." An apparently scarce survivor documenting some of the built environment in the British West Indies at the turn of the 20th century.
