Description: Condition - 2 small spots where glaze did not cover; 1 small spot where paint on leaf either chipped off or did not adhere; 1 tiny black dot - otherwise appears barely used, immaculate, glossy - please examine all pictures carefully! This is a Vintage Franciscan Ware China Oval Platter in the ‘Apple’ pattern, manufactured in the USA between 1940-1984 and now retired. It features a hand painted design of California Apple Orchards. It measures 14 1/8” x 10” x 1 1/4”. It is marked on the underside with the USA backstamp & 100-71. Made of Earthenware, it is color fast and oven safe. This is a beautiful piece, ready to grace your Holiday Table.
