In that band I had one guitar--1965 ES330, now worth at least $5,000. (Gibson has finally re-issued this--for $3500). That's all I traveled with, all I recorded with. Fantastic guitar. Although I mostly play acoustics now (which is why I sold the Gibson), I've had kind of a running interest in what was out there similar that was affordable. I've had quite a few Casinos, including some pretty pricey Elites--none made the grade, not even close.
