Description: 1946 Army Reversible Overcoat/Trench Coat. One side was for wear with dress uniform and turn it inside out to wear in the field. This Overcoat/Trench-coat was made in 1946. At the end of World War 2 and the beginning of the Korean War. The 45 Infantry patch is on the sleeve. The 45th Infantry Division was an infantry division of the United States Army, most associated with the Oklahoma Army National Guard, from 1920 to 1968. Headquartered for most of its history in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the guardsmen fought in both World War II and the Korean War. Active from: 1923 – 1945 and 1946 – 1968. This coat was worn by a Specialist. It has a few field cuts/tares and was fixed with fine sewing. This coat has natural patina to include the dirt on the back of the coat from an Army Motorcycle splashing dirt or mud up on it. Amazing piece of history. Only if this coat could talk
