Description: VTG PFLUEGER Medalist 1492 1/2 AK Fly Fishing Reel GREAT CONDITION Up for bid is a vintage fly fishing reel made by Shakespeare for PFLUEGER in their Medalist series as model 1492 ½ AK. As you can see from the pictures this is a USED REEL, but still looks great and has smooth operation. You can see the something wrong with the paint on one of the edges. There is no indication on the reel, but I have seen this reel can handle 3wt to 5wt line. The reel measures 3 1/4 inches across the reel and 1 ½ inches thick not counting handle.
