Description: VTG Pair Art Prints Church & House Wood Framed Matted 1930s NRA CODE Sticker APPROX MEASUREMENTS 6.75 x 7.75" Frames 4 x 3" Print DESCRIPTION Part of a collection of an estate lot that included a lot of vintage items from 50-60s. Unfortunately I was unable to find any information about the artist or what these pictures are, I did not want to open them up. The stickers on the back at least gave me the date. The sticker on the back was from the National Recovery Administration (NRA) which was a prime agency established by U.S. president Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) in 1933. The goal of the administration was to eliminate "cut throat competition" by bringing industry, labor, and government together to create codes of "fair practices" and set prices. Formed 1933, by the National Industrial Recovery Act (NIRA) Dissolved May 27, 1935. CONDITION The frames show wear from normal use and one of the strings is fraying. Other than that I think they're in good condition.
