The mug is perfect for coffee or tea and is machine washable for easy care. The vintage mug was handmade and hand painted in Japan and is 3 1/2 inches in height. Most Otagiri mugs have a unique raised effect - a very distinctive look. The mugs were produced by hand by a group of artists hired to design and create the pieces. Otagiri started in 1950 and registered their trademark in 1980.
