All of these items are paper products from over 30 years ago, so while technically new-old stock, they've been in storage for a looonnnnggg time, and as they were not ours until about a week ago, I don't know where or how they were stored. As such, they do have a slight musty odor to them...we tried to combat this by sealing everything up with some baking soda, and it did help, 95% of the odor is gone, but in the interest of full disclosure here, I'd recommend you treat these as collectors items and maybe avoid using them for food and drink.
