Description: This vintage Matson vanity mirror features a beautiful gold bird and tree design that adds a touch of elegance to any room. Made in the United States this item is unique because instead of standing straight up like most of the mirrors due this one goes to a side to give the illusion of the tree growing at the bass. Mirror is old and does have wear. The mirror itself has "holes" or "chips" in the glass mirror part (which can be replaced or restored to its former splendor) but you can see some old newspaper backing behind the mirror (see photos) The bottom of the base is slightly wobbly but not so much that it doesn't stand nicely on its own and that you need to fix it (however there is a bolt on the bottom you could tighten if you want to). The gold tree and bird mirror base are beautiful in design but shows typical signs of wear, and just needs a nice polishing for it to gleam and shine to its full potential. As stated, the mirror part itself has the most damage/wear but does spin/flip/tilt as it should (mirror part is a bit loose but still stays in place). This item does show wear throughout as this is an old vintage mirror but as it stands is still very beautiful. Please see all photos and note this is sold AS IS and if you want perfection you will need to put some work into it, but it still functions as a mirror should and can be displayed as is if chosen to not restore.
