I could not find a size label inside this gorgeous coat. It belonged to my mother-in-law and she was meticulous and she was a very humble woman and she barely wore this and it shows… This is a 1950-60d coat. It's so trendy even to this day. The outside of the coat is a chocolate brown ribbed material- pretty sure it's wool. The collar, which is a showstopper, it's very soft and plush, golden brown and off-white fur. It may be mink, I think it's mink, it's very soft and plush. The coat is lined with a coordinating color of what I think is a satin material. The buttons, oh my goodness the buttons, large dark brown plastic with material that matches the coat material fashioned to look like a rose, the details are superb. The fur collar is meant to be fastened in the front. It has two hook and eyes to keep your neck warm. Or, you can wear it without fastening the front and it would just be like a spread fur collar. The inside of the coat has a label from La Salle and Lane Bryant. Lane Bryant apparently commissioned La Salle. Also a made in ISA tag. The coat is in fabulous, absolutely fabulous, condition. I have inspected it quite closely. I don't see any little pulls, of the material, stains, or flaws - I don't see anything wrong with this coat. Also, no odor at all. Please look at all my photos.
