Description: Chrome plated KUWAHARA headset for a 1 inch threaded mountain bike. Locking washer style with interlocking teeth with nice details and stamping on the cups. Has a cable stop built into a headset washer which you do not have to use but may be super helpful depending on your set up. Chrome is in good condition but not perfect (see photos) Should clean up or polish even better as there is still some grime. Top nut and cups have nice lgos/engraving/embossing. Top nut is very clean Headset is complete, the crown race is JIS 27.0 vs the ISO size so this will pair better with your vintage Japanese Mountain Bike Forks. If you have an ISO fork and still have a crown race on it. This should all pair up as the cups are the same same size, just the thickness of the fork where the crown sits will be different.
