These Vintage Snack, Sip & Smoke Trays and Glasses come with the small coffee or tea cup. Back when smoking was cool these sets were the go-to for an evening or luncheon of entertaining with friends. The trays are ribbed on the bottom and have scalloped edging with a round beaded handle. The glass has a beaded handle and fits perfectly in the cup holder on the tray. There is ample space on the tray for holding appetizers and fruit. The unusual hobnail design plate that has been sectioned for the snack, the cup (sip) and a small ashtray with holder for the after-meal smoke. Ok, we know that the whole smoking thing is well past its prime, but we can remember when each meal was followed up with a touch of tobacco. This piece is truly a "sign of the times" design. Made in the 1940's and 50's Measures: tray measures 10 7/8" long x 6" wide and is 3/4" deep. The cup is 4.25" wide with handle included, 2.5" tall and the opening is 2 3/4" wide. Perfect, clear, scratch-free.
