Description: Unusual lightweight crazy quilt. Circa 1940’s. Measures approximately 75” width by 84” length. Tone on tone color scheme in a rosy mocha brown and a light blush peach. Nearly all of the pieces are elongated triangles. Machine Topstitched in pink. It seems that the seamstress was trying to out all the decorative stitches the machine offered. The back is all white cotton hand stitched in pink embroidery thread in a large lattice pattern. 1” binding is hand stitched. There are a number of small holes in the taffeta fabric. I’ve shown an example in photos. The back is in great condition. There is no fill material, so it would be a great quilt to repurpose into clothing, pillows, bags, etc. Please view photos for more details.
