A bashful beauty in Victorian attire peeks out from behind an abstract tree with her body flat and arms around the trunk. Her lower torso has begun to disappear into the textured bronze timber and the two are becoming one. The graceful upsweep of the base leads to 3 great shade holder arms that span like branches, 13 inches from one decorative tip to the next. The unique figure-base design allows for viewing and enjoyment from multiple points of view. The figure lamp base is in very good condition and working order with minor surface blemish consistent with age. I see no structural issues. A magnet does not attract. All electric parts appear to be in good shape. The socket and socket cover appear to be newer. Wiring is not frayed, cracked nor stiff. Plug looks fine. Cord hi-lo switch clicks with confidence. The "Eclipse" art glass shade was made in my Seattle glass blowing studio in 2016.
