Description: This is a classic religious painting of an angel protectively guiding a pair of small children across a narrow bridge. The angel is gorgeous in flowing robes and long golden hair. This painting is known as "Guardian Angel" and "Safe Crossing". It appears to be attributed to several different artists as well, painted in 1886 to 1918 in Germany or Austria. This piece features an oval print decoupaged on a diagonal slice of wood with rustic bark serving as a frame. It measures 11" x 6-1/2" x 1" thick. It looks like it's from the 1970's. The back is unfinished, and has a leather loop on the top for hanging. "West Coast Game Park" and "C 63 Guardian Angel, Made in USA" are stamped separately on the back. There are faint scratches and light spotting on the lower edge of the lacquered print. It is only visible in a certain light, and does not detract from the appearance. The bark has a some chips on it's normally rough texture, but looks perfectly natural. Thank you for your interest in my item!
