Description: STUNNING Vintage 925 Sterling Silver Scenic Graveyard Point Plume Agate Pendant on 24" Chain Necklace. Large, brilliant specimen evoking images of a burning tree with birds fleeing the treetop. With wispy, feathery clouds and several veins of sparkling Marcasite. Truly gorgeous in hand.Graveyard Point Plume Agate is found in Eastern Oregon and has been collected by Agate enthusiasts for the past 60 years, since it was first discovered. This is a great collector's piece. Artisan crafted and set in 925 Sterling Silver on 24" chain. Pendant is (double) stamped Sterling; chain is stamped 925 Italy PREX - both have been acid scratch tested and confirmed as Sterling. Very good+ to excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear related to age and use. Vintage metal pieces (Sterling, Copper, Gold) have not been cleaned. We gently wipe with a bpolishing cloth thereby allowing the buyer to determine the level of patina they desire. Our items are "not for scrap".We are not gemologists, nor jewelers, and opinions provided on stones, gems and metal purity are based on our limited knowledge and the scope of our testing equipment. "What is the purpose of buying vintage if you want it to look new?" We do not clean vintage items and leave that to the discretion of the buyer. All vintage items will show signs of wear consistent with age, as should be expected.
