Lovely vintage piece would look great on a mantle of center of table. the brass has patina as shown - we lightly cleaned off the patina to get the shine we have pictured, but you may wish to clean more thoroughly or professionally for a high shine. the wood blocks have some type of applied plastic to the wood that is chipping off in some places, but of course could be painted or refinished. very rare large piece.
