Description: On offer is a mesh, enamel flapper purse from the 1930's. Made by Whiting and Davis along with Elsa Schiaparelli. Elsa joined the company for a few years beginning late 1920's. EL-SAH is the mark she used. She was part of the new Art Deco age. The purse is mainly green and white chainmail with a rose adornment on top. Notice that the purse does not sit flat, but is 3D - pushing out, at the top. This is one mighty sassy purse that I question letting go of. Size: 5" L x 6" W (at it's broadest flounce) x 4" at top X 6" chain. One photo shows us the double flounce around the bottom edge. Photo with pencil tells us there are 2-3 squares in which the enamel has worn off. Next picture shows the same on the other side. There is a slight indentation on the top near the rose design on one side. Honestly, if only I looked so good approaching 100 years. This is not part of the sales pitch, however, I have had this purse for a long time and see it daily, however, it wasn't until I began writing this description that I noticed those three issues. One would never guess they are there. COMBINED SHIPPING ON OFFER
