Description: This is a vintage piece of Americana. This Starr "X" stationary bottle opener was manufactured exclusively by Brown Mfg. Co. of Newport News, Virginia. It comes in it's original box and appears to have never been used. It features a red "DRINK Dr Pepper" graphic on the front with the "STARR X" below with a patent number and "BROWN CO. N. NEWS, VA" below that. The backside has a number 11 with a W GERMANY. West Germany ceased to exist in 1990. This would place this piece to pre 1990. It stands approximately 3 inches tall and is about 2 3/4 inches wide. Comes as shown with original box, two screws and the stationary bottle opener.
