Description: This is a vintage "Hand of Miriam" (Or Hamsa Hand) protection symbol. It is crafted from ornately-decorated metal with a silver plated front and inlaid with a pair of deep blue stones. Because the face of the symbol is coated with real silver, it has picked up a bit of light tarnish along its edges and in the corners of the designs (see photos). The item measures 5" tall by 3.75" across. It was made in Israel by Danon Judaica and has traveled far over the years before finally making its way to us. It looks lovely when displayed on a stand (not included with purchase), but there is also a hang loop crafted at the top of the piece should you wish to wall mount it.
