Description: Up for your consideration is a complete set of wood unbranded chess pieces. The pieces are natural and walnut brown. They appear a little darker in some of the pictures than they actually are. They look to be in the style of the Staunton pattern. The pieces are weighted and have brown felt on the bottom. The King weighs approximately 15 grams and is about 3 1/8” tall. They come in a nice vintage dovetailed box with lovely patina. The pieces fit nicely in the box. Box is approximately 4 ¼” tall x 3 ¼” deep x 5 ½” wide The chess board is for display only and is not included in the listing Condition –The chess pieces are very good condition. The felt on the bottom of the queen was slightly loose, so I pulled it back to photograph the weight and then repaired the felt. So now it is perfect. Box - Slight discoloration to the two side hinges. The wood is nice with wonderful patina. Please see the photos and zoom in for a good look at the condition.
