Description: Two antique Holy Cards found inside a Hungarian Prayer book dated between the 1840s-1890s. Using Google Translate it appears one card is in German and the other in Hungarian. The lace paper card appears to be in German (NOTE: I DO NOT SPEAK EITHER GERMAN OR HUNGARIAN) depicting a prayer reading "It shines like the sun of the angels fac(ing) upwards to the heavenly light" with a picture of the Church of the Assumption (Maryremete) in Budapest and the framed photo of the Virgin Mary which was placed in an Oak tree here which according to legend caused a blind women to regain her sight. There is also religious text on the back of the card. The second card has the paper corner pieces ripped off, a rip in the bottom center, and a stain in the top right corner with some yellowing of the card. It reads "Kis-Kun-Felegyhazi Szent-kut" depicting the Holy Well in Hungary. There is a handwritten word on the back, unsure of what it says. These do show signs of wear but considering their age are in good condition. All items are cleaned and sanitized.
