Description: Rare & Collectible...vintage 50's Lilli Rubin skirt suit from the first store she opened "Lilli Rubin Lincoln Road Miami Beach"...the nubby fabric is most likely a wool blend...no fabric content label...it is a coarse weave in grays, beige & black. Features: The jacket is a "box cut" style with dolman/raglan style sleeves...it has diamond gussets at the underarms, 3 large chunky buttons for closure, finished button holes, metal hook under the collar with thread loop counter part, small notches at the side seams, glove length...3/4 sleeves & fully lined in dark gray silk. The skirt closes on the side with a metal Waldes zipper & there are 2 metal hooks & eyes on the waist band, the large patch style pockets have gentle gathering above from the waist band & it is half lined in the back only with a black synthetic fabric. Condition: exceptional vintage condition...only issues to note are fading under the armpits of the jacket lining & about a half inch where the lining seam has come undone...as shown. Otherwise, immaculate vintage...dry cleaning only to freshen & for your personal use. There is no marked size...please refer to my measurements & compare to a similar garment you own. Measurements were taken with the suit laying flat, side seams to the table, all types of closures closed & across the fronts. Please note: the jacket is box style with loose cut...underarms.
