Description: vintage clothing Jean Carol Breathtaking vintage dress from the 1940s, branded under Jean Carol before the label transitioned to Peggy Hunt, exudes a Film Noir elegance with its deep black crepe fabric. It features a deep V-neck bodice adorned with ruching at the cups and padded shoulder tops. The three-quarter sleeves are also beautifully detailed with ruching around the cuffs. A defined waist and hip design lead into two layers of luxurious black fringe, beginning just above the hips. It closes with a metal side zipper. No size tags but seems best for a S but please check below for best fit. Material has no stretch. Bust 35'' Waist 25'' Hips 36'' Length 43'' Shoulder to Shoulder 16'' Sleeve Length 17'' I believe original owner sewed up the center bust for modesty as it doesnt appear original but will leave up to you whether or not to leave as is, also has a tiny wear spot on fold at neckline (see photo) some snags as shown in photos.
