Description: Original late 30s to early 40s WW2 street wear dress, shades of grey and black rayon gabardine fabric with a large floral print. Sweet 1.5" ruffles that have 10 very fine very narrow lines of stitching on the edges; they are surrounding the lower cut V neckline and running down the front to the waistline and surrounding around the short peplum skirt, Smocking across the shoulders, 5 small button closure, 3/4 cuffed sleeves. A straight skirt and a belt attached on the sides that tie in the back. The bodice area has some light brown marks similar to water marks, there is some tiny holes directly in the back center, and a 1" x 1.5" hole just below the shoulder on the left sleeve that seems to have gotten caught on something. The skirt is in very good condition with only 2 very small holes that are found only when holding up to the light. Overall fabric is sturdy. I am selling as is.
