Description: You are purchasing a vintage hard to find "Tru-Vac" green metal thermos by the American Thermos Bottle Co. It appears that it was distributed by Walgreen's per the manufacturer's marks on the bottom, see photo 18. It is stamped "Walgreen Co. Distributor Chicago, Illinois, The American Thermos Bottle Co. No. 9105 Tru Vac Made In The U.S.A" on the bottom, see photo 18. "Walgreen" did not add the "s" until the late 40s so this may have been made in the 1930s - 1940s. It comes with a "Thermos" brand cork as well as the red plastic cap. Please note the discoloration spots throughout as well as the surface rust/discoloration at the bottom. Also note when shaken there is a small particle noise. It measures approximately 8 3/8" tall with the red cap; it holds approximately 7oz of liquid. It displays well and would make a nice addition to your thermos collection. Please contact me prior to purchasing with any questions.
