Description: Lot of 2 different photo album covers from developed photographs. These are cardstock paper cover folders that went held photos that you would have developed from film. Photos would have a nice white border around them. Photos were bound into album folio, and had a perforated edge so you could easily remove them if you wish. Both are from Carhart's High Hat Finish. Rochester and Buffalo New York. Carharts was started by a former employee of Eastman Kodak, and took off with the rising popularity of photography and film developing of the time. One booklet is from the mid 1930's and has an graphic of a black top hat, beige paper, red and black ink. The other is mid-1940's World War II era and had a red, white and blue Uncle Sam Hat instead on blue textured cardstock. Both have a metal brad on the sides that held in the developed photos. No photos included, covers only. Folios measure 5.25" x 3.5". Very good, amazingly preserved condition, slight surface wear. Age and discoloration on the metal brad part.
