Description: STUNNING vintage mid century working hanging swag electric lamp / light! A true MCM statement piece, focal point, and conversation starter! Gorgeous inverted tear drop shaped heavy thick amber / orangey brown glass with lovely vertical rounded ribbing. Interior of light has a metal diffuser tube to help cast & throw light onto walls. The orange glow of this light is mesmerizing! Features ornate metal canopies at top and bottom of teardrop. The canopies have an antiqued brassy finish with vintage patina. Has a 12 foot long heavy metal chain for hanging / swag, which is also a antique brassy finish with vintage patina. Original brown cord is 15 feet long, and has a rounded toggle switch to turn light on & off. This piece is massive, measuring a full 24” from top to bottom and approx 10” wide at middle. I did include one pic with a water bottle to help visualize the immense size of this piece. In very good preowned vintage condition. No chips, cracks or damage seen or felt on inspection. Would make an amazing addition to any mid century, MCM, retro, vintage, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s themed home!
