This post-modern Memphis style playfully fun and unique collection of dinnerware ranged from plates to mugs, to teapots and more. These pieces were created by housewares designer John Stymeist and manufactured in Japan. The Colorways Collection was a huge hit and set trends throughout the 80s and 90s. It was discontinued by John in 1996 so that he could focus on new designs. However, the collection came back for a few additional years afterward due to popular demand, before a final discontinuation. These adorable pink with turquoise interior Colorways coupe cereal bowls are selling as replacement bowls on Replacements, Ltd. for $69 EACH. They are over 38 years old. Condition: MINT vintage, carefully used, if ever, with clear and legible original labels still intact on the bottom, evidence of how little these were used. No chips, cracks, crazing. Minimal interior surface marks (may be from very light use a time or two or from storing stacked). One bowl interior has a few darker utensil marks (see last two pics; one without flash and one with flash. Hard to see but wanted to give full disclosure).
