Description: This listing is for a 1981 Erector 500 construction set from Gabriel. It appears to be complete or near complete (hard to tell since there is no item list in the manual saying how many of each piece there should be). There is some white residue on some of the tires that appears to just be from the styrofoam packaging. The remote control does not appear to be working. There was some severe battery corrosion in one of the three battery compartments (the one on the bottom) that I was not able to fully clean. It may need to be disassembled for proper cleaning. Contacts may need to be replaced. The two battery compartments on top look great. Box is in decent condition. Some masking tape has been used in the past to keep the flaps closed, but there are no tears. Ships with USPS Ground Advantage or FedEx Ground.
