Description: I’ve had this zippo for many years and never have seen one exactly like it. It’s dated to 1968 and is a 3D marine zippo with the text indicates it was given out by the commanding general at the time. There’s a couple scratches and some paint fade on the USMC badge, and couple tiny dings and hairline scratches that are not very noticeable. I tested it recently and it worked well but it was on its last bit of wick cloth, so that will need to be replaced. The cotton holds fluid still pretty well and the top lid and hinge works well, and isn’t off centered. **Correct me if I’m wrong about the historical provenance and any extra info would be helpful and much appreciated**
