Description: This is a rare offering: a pair of ceramic salt & pepper shakers (S&P shakers) from the restaurant of the Kon Tiki Hotel, that was located in Phoenix , Arizona. Both shakers are clearly marked, on the undersides. The hotel opened in 1961, and closed in 1993. The building was demolished a few years later. (If you look up "Kon Tiki Hotel Phoenix" right here on eBay, you can see several post cards showing the building.) These shakers measure just over 4 inches tall. They are identical, except that one has three holes on the top, and the other has two holes. The set is in EXCELLENT condition, with no chips or cracks. I think these were made circa 1960's or 1970's. They are guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
