Description: This work is unsigned! This was determined to be Cleveland Municipal Stadium based on the shape of the stadium and the scoreboard. I found a picture from 1947 of the scoreboard with the round shapes on both side of it matching the drawing. This date is consistent with other drawings from the collection. Matting is approximately 16” x 20” Visible area of drawing is approximately 11.25” x 17” This drawing is in good shape for its age, there is minor fading around the outside, which is covered by the matting. Some minor smearing. This drawing was taken from a collection of sketchbooks from the artist. It was taken out of the sketchbook for archival and conservation purposes. It is matted in an acid free mat, and supported with an acid free backing. It is stored, and will ship in an acid free archival bag.
