Description: VERY RARE DIE-CUT VALENTINE by Carrington Co “C” logo, USA. The card has the Katz’ circular logo that includes a 1928 date, while the inside of the circle bear a “C” for Carrington. Katz and Carrington had a business relationship. Louis Katz was a 1924 photographer and a New York based publisher of cards during the 1920s. I can find nothing to indicate he was an artist himself Charles Twelvetrees is the only artist who is known to work for Katz. The paper and inks are excellent quality, on heavy lacquered cardboard.
