Description: Offered is a Vintage Arrowhead Decorator Nails Store Display made by Mattatuck Mfg. Co. Waterbury Conn. This cardboard display features new old stock of Decorator Nails in at least 12 different styles. I count 30 full and unused bags of Arrowhead Decorator Nails. The cardboard sign measures about 18 3/4" x 15 3/4". This sign reads "Arrowhead solid brass decorator nails, The Mark Of Craftmanship, The New Accent in the home bars, home furnishings, crafts, decoration and utility." "The Mattatuck Manufacturing Company, Waterbury, Connecticut, Made in U.S.A." This display has wing back or an easel back on it. (See pics). There is an original penciled in price of ".25 pkg." I don't know the vintage of this piece, but when was the last time you paid a quarter for a bag of hardware? There is a nice Native American Indian depiction on an arrowhead that is the displays logo. There is normal wear to this sign and some of the paper surface is lifting from the cardboard. The bottom edge of the display had heavier wear and tears. (See pics). An interesting side note, the bags are attached to hardware that are "bolts' and have nuts to secure them on the back. An interesting way to create a display. There is present an original chain to hang the piece from. A nice, vintage hardware display piece to add to your collection.
