Description: Virgilio of Taxco 14K Yellow Gold Ruby & Freshwater Pearl Vintage Ring Size 9.25. This stunning ring has a large asymmetrical mounting measuring approximately 1 1/2 inches long x 27.25mm wide x 9mm high off the finger. The yellow gold has a light patina in some areas, as pictured, that comes with age and an almost pink hue depending on the light. The mounting holds (5) prong set rough rubies. The rubies are pink in color with purple and orange tones. The stones have natural inclusions, as pictured. There are also (4) freshwater pearls that appear to be in their natural forms varying in size from approximately 11.3mm long x 6.25mm wide, up to approximately 15.5mm long x 5mm wide. All of the stones and pearls are secure in the mounting. The band measures approximately 3.6mm wide. The inside of the band is stamped "14K" and "Virgilio". Virgilio is a Taxco modernist artist. Size 9 1/4. 21.3 grams / 13.7 dwt. This ring has light wear for it's age and is in overall great vintage condition. This piece of Modernist art is ready to wear and show off!
