Description: VINTAGE/ANTIQUE? Cast Iron Cornbread - 7 Ears of Corn Skillet Pan-About 13” Long. Each “ear” is about 5” long and 1 1/2” wide. On the back, it says 7C D. This was my grandmother’s, and she was quite the cook (making meals while my grandfather worked the farm). My grandmother was born in 1912, and she was a young bride, so that is why it is either very vintage or antique. I have had this for many years, but I do not cook like she did. It is taking up space that I need as I downsize. It needs to be re-oiled/re-seasoned or whatever you do to try to bring out the black again (my son-in-law says that needs to be done periodically - he is quite the cook and loves cast iron but has no room either). Condition is “used” and very vintage or antique. There are a lot of wear marks from so many years of use. It is reddish/brown now. It looks to me like the black has actually chipped off to some extent, so that is why the reddish/brown is evident. Shipped by USPS First Class
