Description: Vintage Zylco Freeze USA 8 Pc. Stainless Knife Set. This set includes 2 meat forks, 4 kitchen prep knives and 2 multipurpose knives (one icing/serving spatula and one cleaver/tenderizer). Zylcowas an offshoot of Rena-Ware, both were part of ZylstraCorporation. The headquarters of Zylstra Corporation were located in Spokane, Washington. These sets were around $120 in the early 60's (several days wages). This set is in excellent shape overall. There is one knife in the set that has a few chips in the blade. Aside from that they look to be lightly used overall. The stainless has a mirror like polish, and the wood handled are a dark brown (maybe walnut?) With brass rivets and nice ergonomic shaping.
