Description: Vintage Zuni Owl Post Earrings Sterling Silver Turquoise Shell Native American. A whimsical pair of sterling silver owl earrings entirely handmade by a Zuni artisan. One owl's eyes are blue turquoise stones and the other owl's eyes are greenish blue turquoise. The owl's body and wing are shell inlay. The owl's feet are handcrafted sterling silver raindrops. The earrings measure approximately 3/4" tall by 1/2" wide. These wonderful Native American sterling silver, turquoise and shell owl earrings are in very good vintage condition, as shown in the photos. They may have some minor surface wear and age-appropriate oxidation. It has not been professionally cleaned so as not to compromise the beauty of the natural patina. The shell wing of the owl with the greenish blue eyes has a slight crack, as shown in the last photo. The posts have a slight bend to them, which is common with older earrings.
