Vintage York 100 4 inch bullet vise

Description: For your consideration a York 100 (4 inch) bench vise. This vise has been cleaned, inspected, and painted. There were no cracks, welds, or damaged areas. Some scars on the anvil and movable and stationary jaw flats.. This is due to normal wear. Approx weight is 28 pounds. Very solid. Jaws mate perfectly and are in good working shape. Has a stamp Moravia on movable jaw. Genuine article from eastern Europe. The York vise was the for-runner of the Wilton vise. Some Wilton engineering came from the York company.For ease of shipping the swivel base will be paced detached in the same box. Easy assembly -- 2 bolts. This vise is a very good example of its vintage of equipment. Ready for your collection or your workbench.
