Description: For your consideration is a Yamaha R-900 AM/FM stereo receiver for parts or repair. It powers on fine, and tuner appears to work, although the display is sometimes off, ie: 94.9 shows as 95Mhz. There is no sound. The speaker relay never kicks in. I suspect one of the main output modules is bad and would need replacing. No other testing was done. There are no signs of any bad components such as bulging capacitors, burned resistors, etc. Cosmetically this Yamaha receiver is in fair to good condition with normal signs of wear such as scuffs, scratches, dings, and other blemishes.
