Description: This is a classic T-shirt from a "you had to have been there" to believe it football game between the most storied rivalries in college football history, Harvard and Yale. It was November 1968, the last game of the year at Harvard Stadium and nationally ranked Yale was heavily favored to win. Led by all American Brian Dowling Yale jumped out to a 22-0 lead & still lead 29-13 with 42 seconds remaining. Harvard performed miracles in that last 42 seconds and managed to score 2 touchdowns with two 2 point conversions to tie the game 29-29, which led to the Harvard Crimson newspaper to declare Harvard the winner over Yale 29 to 29. Yale had different ideas declaring themselves the winner 29-29. Both teams finished the season undefeated with eight wins zero losses and one tie. This shirt commemorates thatgreat game & measures 23" from armpit to armpit and 29" from the top of the shirt to its base. Manufactured by Champion and built for comfort, it is a terrific memorabilia piece and great to wear at the next game at the Yale BowlYale is very good this year and will be a talking point at your tailgate for sure.
